1. PREP YOUR EASY CANDY
Easy as 1-2-3, follow the directions on your bag of Fancy Sprinkles® Easy Candy™. It should take just a minute (literally).
2. MAKE YOUR MOLD
Pour half the bag of Easy Candy into the mold. Rotate it round to spread the candy all over the mold. Use a popsicle stick to spread any Easy Candy that has puddled up on the bottom of the mold and lift it so it covers the sides of the heart. You want to make sure you get good coverage along the sides because that is where it tends to crack the easiest when popping it out.
3. SET YOUR EASY CANDY IN THE MOLD
Once the inside of the mold is fully coated with Easy Candy, place in the fridge for 10 minutes to set.
4. THE REVEAL
Gently peel the mold away from the easy candy along the sides of the mold before trying to pop out the whole thing, do this slowly! Once you feel most of it has peeled away, bend the mold and gently remove your candy heart.
5. REPEAT [OPTIONAL]
Do this process twice if you’re looking to make a full 3D heart.
6. MELT (SLIGHTLY)
To attach the two sides of your heart, you will need to melt the seams of your heart to make it even and also make them malleable enough to stick together. Find a cookie tray or plate that is large enough to fit the whole diameter of your heart. Warm the cookie tray / large plate using the oven or microwave. Start with the bottom half of your heart. Gently place the seam of your half heart on the warm tray.
Pack the base of your heart with a sweet surprise: Candy🍬, cookies🍪, chocolate🍫, jewelry💍, money💰 …
8. REPEAT STEP 6
Gently melt the seam for the top half of your heart and lay on top of the bottom half.
9. SEAL YOUR HEART
After you attach the second heart on top, use your fingertips to spread away any excess Easy Candy. This will also help seal the two hearts together.
10. MAKE A MESSAGE
Using your remaining Easy Candy, use the Alphabet Mold to create a message for your recipient. Just pipe your Easy Candy directly into the letters you want to use. I wrote “BAE”. Let it set in the fridge for 10 minutes before popping out your letters.
To make your heart sparkle, decorate by dipping a paintbrush in some Prism Powder and dust it all over.
12. FINISHING TOUCH
To attach your message (once you take your letters out of the alphabet mold), gently dab a little Easy Candy on the back of each letter and place it on the heart.
13. GIFT + SMASH!
(Psst, you may have seen Kim Kardashian do something very similar with her latest KKW Fragrance Launch.)
