Yields: 1-2 dozen eggs
TOOLS
- 5 bowls
- Spoon or whisk
- Drying racks
- Paper towels
- Paintbrush [optional]
INGREDIENTS
- Dip ‘n’ Dye Egg Dye Kit
- 1-2 Dozen eggs
- ¾ cup of water for each color
- 1 tbsp white vinegar for each color
- 1 ½ tsps clear vanilla extract, vinegar or alcohol
INSTRUCTIONS
1. PREP THE DRYING RACK
Place a thick layer of paper towels beneath the drying rack to catch any drips.
2. MIX THE DYES
Add ¾ water and 5 drops of Jelly Hues colors to each bowl. Stir well with a spoon or whisk until gel dissolves. Add 1 tbsp of white vinegar to the bowl and stir.

3. DYE EGGS
Place one egg into the cup. Ensure that the egg is fully submerged. For lighter shade, leave the egg in for 15-20 seconds. For deeper shade, leave the egg in for 2-3 minutes.
4. DRY EGGS
Remove eggs from the dye with a spoon and place them on the drying rack. Let the eggs sit on the rack until they are fully dry.

5. CREATE LUSTER PAINT [OPTIONAL]
Mix each Luster Powder with ½ tsp clear vanilla extract, vinegar or alcohol in a small cup or bowl until it has paint-like consistency.
FANCY TIP: You can also dry dust the luster powder on hard boiled eggs that have been refrigerated and are cold. The condensation will make the Luster Powder stick right on the shell.
6. DECORATE EGGS
Paint the Luster Powder onto the dyed eggs, and let dry.

7. ENJOY!
